Greater Bay Area Chapter ATU Latino Caucus

This week Golden Gate Transit went live on their new GFI Odyssey fareboxes.  Quite a bit of planning went into the installation of these fareboxes.  Not the least of it being the ATU Latino Caucus outreach tothe traveling public.

These new GFI's are such a radical

departure from our usual fare collcetion procedure that it was felt neccessary to go into the community and prepare them for 'go live' on march 16th.  With Western Representative Antonio (Tony) Vargas and GBALC President Ignacio (Nacho) Sandoval at point position, how could it not be a success.  Well, at least nobody got hurt!

Greater Bay Area Chapter of the ATU International Latino Caucus is committed to community involvement.  Although we are still small, our enthusiamism and 'roll up your sleeves' more then makes up for numbers!
