Boeing strike has been settled. Members of the Machinist Union will be back on the job tonight. With 2 months of lost wages, this fully justified walkout has cost the workers plenty. Increasing global turmoil, related to the financial markets meltdown has changed trade dynamics worldwide. Particularly the purchasing parity of countries buying our goods. But this is for another post. I'm thankful boeing is ramping up, and grateful for labor that holds out for a fair contract. Link to story below.
